Every tour will have an owner and an editor.
The owner and editor can be same for the tour or an owner can transfer the editorship to someone else.
Owner can also transfer ownership of a tour to someone else.
In this article we will show you how you can transfer ownership and editorship.

Log into your dashboard

In the above image you can see that the dashboard has two tabs now "My Tours" and "Shared"
By default any tour that you create will assign the ownership and editorship to you and these tours will be seen in the My Tours tab.
Any tour that you have shared with someone, or someone has shared their tour with you are shown in the shared tab.
How to invite editor or transfer owner rights to someone else?
Log into the dashboard and click on the vertically aligned squares icon associated with the tour to open a list of various options available.
The last option in the list is of "Transfer". Click on transfer to either transfer the editorship or ownership or both to someone else. Clicking on Transfer will open a dialog box.
Here you get option to invite someone to become an editor of your tour or transfer the ownership of the tour.
Select the appropriate tab, enter the email id of the person you want to invite, add a custom message and click on send.
An Email notification with a unique code will be sent to the person and using the code the person can accept the invite.
Once the invite is accepted by the user, you will be notified about the successful transfer via email. Also, the tour that you have shared will be seen under "shared" tab on the dashboard.
In Shared tab you can see the tours shared by yourself, shared with you and the pending invites.
"By Me" lists all the tours that you have shared with other to edit.
"With Me" lists all the tours that have been shared with you.
"Pending" lists all the tours for which you have sent an invite or transferred ownership but have not been accepted.
How to accept the invite or transfer?
When someone invites you to become the editor of a tour or transfers his ownership rights to you, you get a email notification of the same.
The mail will have a unique code attached with it.
Copy this entire code and go to the shared tab on your Walkinto dashboard.
You can see the transfer code box, paste the code in the box and apply.
As you apply you will receive a successful message and the tour will be seen in the appropriate tab.
How can I revoke the editorship?
To revoke editorship from a tour you have shared with someone. Go to the shared tab, under "By Me" you will see the tour. Click on the vertically aligned square icon. You will find a revoke button there associated with that tour. Click on it to revoke the rights to edit.
